I am receiving way too much spam as comments on this blog, which is on a temporary leave of absense. Any ideas how to rid myself of spam?

    Apparently Blogger's spam filters are an ever changing algorithm that gets better over time. So it looks like your options are to categorize each post as spam, so the filters get smarter, or turn off posts altogether. Because of the word verification system, pretty much all "bot" spam is filtered out, so the people leaving irrelevant messages are singling you out, probably among others.
